The story of Tranquility Camp begins in 1926 when Garden State Academy (GSA) was founded. It continued to be an Adventist institution for consecrated Christian men and women for over 75 years. After closing, GSA became Tranquil Valley Retreat Center located in Sussex County NJ, "where people and nature come together." 

We hope at Tranquility Camp that you may find tranquility at our newly renovated Ellis Hall, extended gymnasium, nature trails, campgrounds and state of the art indoor pool, as well as the rest of our facilities. Blessings.
